High Speed Black & White CAD Plotting
In a jam or just to busy, Northeast Blueprint can help
Northeast Blueprint has the capability of plotting your AutoCad files at a speed of 22 D-Size plots per minute once we have processed the files.
That is a far cry from 40 minute pen plots, and even 4 minute inkjet plots. Those means of plotting are fine if you have the time, but in today's market of on-time delivery and last minute changes, who has the luxury of time? Our state of the art plotting equipment, combined with our trained plotting technicians will get your job done and done on time.
File Formats ( what to send ? ) *.plt or *.dwg?
Customers using AutoCAD have the option of sending either an AutoCAD *.dwg file or generating a plot file (*.plt) and sending us that file. We always recommend the use of a plot file for a simple reason: a plot file does does not require the transmission of "xrefs" or special font files as does a *.dwg file. If you transmit *.dwgs for processing and either of these items are used, but not included, your order can not be complete until we receive them. By sending plot files, there is less chance of a delay or error occurring. Note: If using AutoCAD 2000 or later you can also send us a *.cal file.
When creating black & white plot files, use the KIP driver which can be downloaded by clicking the appropriate link below. After downloading the appropriate KIP driver, please read the setup.txt file for instructions on how to add a printer in Autocad.

If you prefer not using the form, have trouble inputting to it, or wish to do color CAD plotting, please provide the necessary information ( name, scale, finished size, line widths, media, and any distribution info either in the body of your email message to neblue@Northeastblueprint.com if you send the files as an attachment), or as an ASCII text file (readme.txt) within your data .zip archive on our ftp site (recommended).
If you choose to send *.dwgs please double check that all "xrefs" and special font files are included.
Still not quite sure on what to do? Don't worry. We will help. Northeast Blueprint offers free telephone tech support to handle any plotting questions you may have. And before your next critical deadline, and before you get into a plotting jam, send over a test file for us to sample plot, just to make sure it's what you expect. No charge. No problem.
