Our Process
Over the years, Northeast Blueprint has put into place a process which allows us to create 100% accurate CAD files in the shortest amount of time, at a very low cost to the customer. We understand that all jobs are unique and we always adhere to the needs of our customers:Standard Project Flow:
- Customer supplies a sample of files in project and gives basic criteria for the Scope of Work needed.
- Northeast Blueprint team reviews drawing(s) and provides a price, turnaround, and sample if required.
- Upon acceptance of the project Northeast Blueprint obtains all files or paper drawings related to project.
- Your scanned TIF/PDF/JPG files, original blueprints, paper, or mylars are logged in as a new project.
- Your project's special requirements are reviewed by our staff and a Scope of Work is developed. Our SOW often includes: layering guidelines, standards, title blocks, fonts, file naming conventions and specific due dates.
- Our CAD operators begin their process of re-drafting.
- Upon completion of re-drafting, the files are reviewed by a Level 2 operator to verify accuracy and to contact the customer with any questions.
- Once verified, our final QC operator goes over the final deliverable and signs off that it is accurate.
- Completed AutoCAD files are returned to customer.
The above are the basic steps to our process. Please contact us for the specific details to your project.
